Dr. Yeboah Eyes Oti Regional Council Of State Representative Position 

Dr. Barnabas Kwame Yeboah is eying to represent the Oti Region on the Council of State as he contests eight other persons in the upcoming Council of State elections.

Dr. Barnaba Kwame Yeboah is a Nurse, Public health expert, Leadership and management consultant and quality improvement coach in an interview on why he wants to represent the people of the Oti Region said, “My tenure if voted for, will be guided by the following principles; opportunities for all, togetherness we grow, innovativeness to accelerate development and ensure equity and fairness.”

Dr. Yeboah also added that, “After the creation of the Oti Region, we must all now come on board to ensure we meet the expectations and the long awaiting aspirations of our people as far as development is concerned. As a loyal citizen of the region, I have a strong conviction that, this is the right time for me to offer myself in this highly esteemed position to fight for our emancipation from our present unacceptable living conditions.”

Dr. Yeboah says bringing development to the Oti Region would be one of his major priorities by helping to promote; leadership and governance, employment opportunities, promote tourism, promote quality healthcare, promote quality education, promote agricultural development and promote trade and industry.

Dr. Yeboah currently works at the Ministry of Health Headquarters as the Head of Nursing and Midwifery Services. He is also the National Coordinator for Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) and the focal person for Preferred Primary Care Provider Network and a member of the National Technical Coordination Committee (NTCC) for Covid-19.

He holds a PhD degree in Public Health from the University of Central Nicaragua, Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from KNUST, Masters in Business Administration (Management) from the Delta International University of New Orleans USA, BSc in Human Resources Management from University of Ghana.
