Dambai: Krachi East MCE Nominee To Be Confirmed On 2nd May 2023
The Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive nominee Bernard Aborkogya Mensah will be confirmed on 2nd May 2023 at Dambai in the Oti Region.
The confirmation will take place at the Oti Regional Coordinating Council Assembly Hall where 30 persons made up of 21 elected Assembly Members and 9 government appointees are expected to confirm the President’s nominee.
The Krachi East Municipality has been without an MCE for eight months following the death of the former MCE Francis Kofi Okesu.
A resident of Dambai , Daniel Bemeasen in an interview noted that he expects the MCE to be confirmed by the Assembly Members and the government appointees.
“ The Municipality has been there for almost eight months with no MCE, it has retarded development. I believe they will see this and confirm him so that he can continue the work left behind by the late Hon. Francis Okesu.”
The President’s nominee holds a first Degree in Theology from the Christian Service University College in Kumasi and Masters in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Cape Coast.
He also served as the NPP Chairman for the Krachi East Constituency for eight years.
