Dr. Bawumia Putting Pressure On John Mahama In His Backyard
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s Presidential candidate, has recently renovated the Jakpa Palace at Damongo in the Savannah Region, which is considered the backyard of his political opponent, John Dramani Mahama.
According to sources,John Mahama, who is from the region, had been asked multiple times to support the palace’s renovation but did not take action.
The New Patriotic Party Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia is putting pressure on NDC’s Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama in his own backyard in the Savannah Region.
However, following Bawumia’s renovation of the palace, John Mahama is cutting sod to construct a new palace for the area following a backlash he received and the praising of Dr. Bawumia.
The question is will John Mahama have cut the sod for the construction of a new palace if Dr. Bawumia had not renovated the existing palace?
This development has led to a significant upgrade of the Jakpa Palace, showcasing the positive impact of political competition on community development.
