Most Ghanaian single men struggle to maintain relationships – Adu Safowaa asserts
Ghanaian socialite Adu Safowaa has sparked debate with her recent comments on single men in Ghana, claiming many struggle with relationship management.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Safowaa stated that while these men excel in their careers, they often fall short in fostering harmonious relationships.
“Most single men are great at building their careers, but they don’t always understand how to maintain a peaceful relationship with their girlfriends. Their focus is usually more on work and external pursuits than on their personal lives,” she remarked.
Drawing from personal experience, Adu Safowaa revealed she has dated eight men—six single and two married. Surprisingly, she admitted to enjoying her relationships with married men more.
“I preferred dating the married ones. Despite their commitments to work and family, I always felt more at ease with them,” she claimed.
Additionally, she shared insights into her approach to relationships, describing her partners as personal “projects.”
“I take an active role in my boyfriends’ lives. I love caring for them and ensuring everything about them is in check,” she disclosed.
Safowaa’s statements have since ignited discussions on the dynamics of modern relationships in Ghana.
