Charterhouse reschedules 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards – See the new date here
Charterhouse Productions, organisers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), have officially announced a rescheduling of the 26th edition of the annual event.
Initially set for May 3, 2025, the main awards ceremony will now take place a week later, on May 10, 2025.
The announcement was made via a press release signed by Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and Communications at Charterhouse, who outlined the reasons behind the date adjustment and its implications for the overall TGMA schedule.
According to the statement, the shift in the timeline was necessary and will impact other major events leading up to the grand celebration.
“Charterhouse Productions, the organizers of the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, wish to inform industry stakeholders and the general public that the date for the main awards ceremony has been changed from 3rd May 2025 to 10th May 2025,” the release stated.
In light of this development, updates have also been made to the TGMA pre-event calendar. The highly anticipated TGMA Masterclass is now scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2025, while the vibrant Pre-Party will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Charterhouse extended its apologies for any disruption caused by the date change and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering an event that lives up to its reputation for excellence and entertainment.
“This change regrettably affects the calendar of activities leading to the main awards ceremony. Kindly take note of the following events and their new dates:
“Masterclass: Thursday, 8th May 2025. Pre-Party: Friday, 9th May 2025.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to bring you an unforgettable experience,” the statement concluded.
