Lilwin details disruption on set of ‘Ibrahim Traoré’ movie by masked intruders
Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly recognized as Lilwin, has disclosed a troubling incident that disrupted the shooting of his upcoming movie, Ibrahim Traoré.
In a video circulating online, Lilwin recounted how the production was thrown into chaos after a group of masked men invaded the set. The actor said the assailants, riding in a formation of about nine to ten motorbikes, stormed the location mid-shoot and demanded that filming cease immediately.
Lilwin alleged that the intruders were angry over a monetary offer he had refused, an offer meant to convince him to shelve the film project. Instead of negotiating, the masked individuals allegedly began damaging property at the rented house being used as the shooting location.
“The damage they caused was significant,” Lilwin said, noting with disappointment that the property owner has since revoked their permission to use the venue due to the destruction.
In a clever move to diffuse the tense situation, Lilwin revealed that he pretended to call the Ashanti Regional Minister. That bluff worked—the masked men reportedly fled the scene soon after, fearing official intervention.
