Nana Romeo joins Okay FM, set to host ‘Ekwanso Dwodwo’
Just days after announcing his departure from Accra FM, where he spent nearly a decade, Ghanaian radio personality Nana Romeo,born Abdul Karim, has unveiled his next chapter.
In a social media post, Romeo confirmed he is officially joining the Despite Media Group and will take over as the host of the popular drive-time program ‘Ekwanso Dwodwo’ on Okay 101.7 FM. He steps into the role previously held by veteran broadcaster Abeiku Santana.
“BREAKING BREAKING BREAKING BREAKING,” Romeo wrote in a celebratory post.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I am honored and thrilled to share that I have joined DESPITE MEDIA as the new host of the famous drive time show ‘EKWANSO DWODWO’ on OKAY 101.7 FM.”
Calling the new role “an exciting step” in his career, Romeo expressed gratitude to his family, supporters, former employers, and colleagues, emphasizing his commitment to delivering excellence on air. He also thanked key figures in the Despite Media Group for believing in him.
