Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely recognized as Prophet Kumchacha, has offered his perspective on the public image of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
Speaking on Onua TV, the Heaven’s Gate Ministries leader reflected on why the artiste often sparks controversy. According to him, what many perceive as excessive loudness is actually an intentional part of Shatta Wale’s identity as a performer.
“There are people who are very quiet in nature. Shatta Wale too has added loudness to his brand. That’s what he also brought into this world. When you meet Shatta one on one, he’s very calm even though he’s sometimes so loud,” Prophet Kumchacha explained.
He went on to argue that Wale’s unpredictable character is not a flaw but rather a strategy that sustains his influence in the entertainment space.
“Sometimes he may come across as aggressive or controversial, but that’s part of the showbiz game. That’s what keeps people talking about him,” he further stated.
