NSA Releases First Batch of 2025/2026 National Service Postings: Key Details You Should Know

National Service Authority (NSA)

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, assigning 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions nationwide to various public and private organizations.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Authority clarified that this figure does not include service personnel with data discrepancies, particularly teachers, nurses, and midwives. Their postings, it said, will be published after ongoing verification processes are completed, which will increase the overall total.

The NSA emphasized that the deployment exercise was conducted with careful scrutiny and called on the public to appreciate the technical procedures involved. It also warned prospective personnel to steer clear of middlemen or fraudulent agents who claim they can influence postings.

The Authority outlined the official process for all assigned personnel as follows:

  1. Check placement details at gnsa.gov.gh.
  2. Print appointment letters and have them endorsed by the organization of posting.
  3. Book an online appointment for registration and validation.
  4. Report to designated regional centers with an endorsed appointment letter and Ghana Card for registration.

The registration and validation exercise will run from Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to Friday, November 21, 2025, while the 2025/2026 national service officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Ruth Dela Seddoh, Director-General of the NSA, congratulated the new batch, urging them to approach their assignments with commitment and pride. “National service is a time to give back to the nation and play an active role in its socio-economic transformation,” she said.
