Ghanaian artiste King Promise has revealed that his parents are increasingly asking about grandchildren, even though tying the knot is not on his immediate agenda.
During an interview with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, the ‘Tokyo’ hitmaker shared how openly his parents express their desire for a grandchild.
“It’s gotten to a time when my parents say they want a grand kid. They say ‘all these kids in your video, you know give us a grand kid’,” he said.
The 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year added that, despite meeting many women over the years, he does not feel ready to settle down.
“I am still a young man navigating through life. As I get older I will definitely settle,” he explained.
King Promise also reflected on how his approach to choosing a partner has matured. He admitted that while physical attraction once played a key role in his relationships, he now looks beyond appearances.
“Now it’s not about physical. If I feel you, I feel you,” he stated.
King Promise is preparing for his Promised Land concert, set for December 30, 2025, at the Ghud Park.
