American singer and songwriter Keri Lynn Hilson has taken to social media to celebrate Ghanaian global star Stonebwoy, calling him “an angel on earth.”
Hilson highlighted that, unlike many artists whose offstage personalities contrast sharply with their music, Stonebwoy’s character flows naturally into his songs. She also praised his openness in conversations that go beyond music.
“One thing I can say about Stonebwoy is that some people you meet are nothing like the music they make, and it kinda takes you aback, but with Stonebwoy he’s exactly the way he makes his records. He’s very calm, he’s very peaceful, he’s so in tune, he’s almost like an angel on earth. He serves a great purpose through his music but it’s really who he is,” she said.
She went on, “And we’ve gotten to speak over the phone for several hours now and we’ve had conversations about love, about life.”
Keri Hilson and Stonebwoy previously joined forces on the 2020 hit “Nominate,” a standout track from his Fifth-Dimension album that gained international acclaim.
