Shatta Wale’s publicist and PRO, Sammy Flex, has given Afro-dancehall artist Stonebwoy a 48-hour deadline to substantiate his claim that Shatta Wale once accused him of murdering his own mother.
The demand follows renewed attention on a viral Angel FM interview in which Stonebwoy insisted that reconciling with Shatta Wale would be impossible. He pointed to the alleged statement as one of the key reasons their long-running rivalry has persisted.
During the conversation, Stonebwoy maintained that any attempt to forgive the “Jejereje” hitmaker would be disrespectful to the memory of his late mother.
Responding on his YouTube channel, Sammy Flex pushed back strongly against the allegation, insisting Stonebwoy must provide proof of the claim he made.
“We give you some 48 hours ultimatum to prove to the whole world, give us evidence, prima facie evidence, that this is where Shatta said this. He who alleges must prove. But there is none there,” Sammy Flex declared.
He further argued that Stonebwoy failed to clearly identify when and where the alleged comment was made. According to Sammy Flex, during the interview with Adams, when the question was raised, Stonebwoy reportedly avoided giving specifics and instead redirected it back to the journalist, asking whether he also believed Shatta Wale had made the remark.
“He who alleges must prove. That is just common sense. The journalist did not accuse Shatta of doing that, you are,” he said.
Sammy Flex added that such an approach would not stand up under legal scrutiny, suggesting that the lack of detail weakens the credibility of the claim.
“If you don’t want to go into that, then let’s stop talking about it now,” he added.
He also expressed concern that the allegation has continued to circulate for years without any verifiable evidence being produced.
“Even from 2018 till 2026, Stonebwoy is still allowing people to put out headlines like this,” Sammy Flex concluded.
