25-year-old Harriet Kafui Hiatsi, who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend in Ho recently has been buried at Agortime Kpetoe in the Volta Region.
Reports indicate that Jay Dordorye, the boyfriend of the deceased, reportedly inflicted knife wounds on the late Harriet, and attempted committing suicide.
Jay Dordoye, 26 years of age is said to have slit his girlfriend’s throat and tried hanging himself after the incident. The incident is said to have happened at about 10:00 p.m. on Monday, 23rd March but was only discovered close to midnight.
Hundreds of mourners and sympathizers, mostly, youth, thronged the family house to bid her farewell, with many of them especially her peers heard calling for justice and arrest of the perpetrator of the act.
Mr Dordorye is currently receiving treatment at the Volta Regional Hospital after he was arrested by the Ho Municipal Police command.
