Shatta Wale Sends Message to Online Big Spenders With Dirty Money

Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has taken to social media to warn people involved in dubious money schemes to tread carefully, especially when it comes to showing off wealth online.

In a Facebook post dated December 14, 2025, the Ghanaian dancehall artiste, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, drew a clear line between honest earnings and illicit gains, urging restraint from those whose income sources cannot withstand scrutiny.

He argued that transparency should not be feared by individuals who make their money legitimately, noting that openly sharing lawful paths to success can motivate others to follow the right example.

“If you make money legally like Shatta Wale, don’t be afraid to show others the way. But if the money is illegal, be careful. Ghetto youth, if you joke with it, they will wipe you out… Adey tell you!” he said.

The musician went on to position himself as a frequent target of jealousy, attributing the attention to the level of success and affluence he has achieved in his career.

He stressed that his accomplishments came early in life and were driven solely by his music, rejecting persistent claims that tie his lifestyle to fraud.

“A life like this, as a young man, is enviable, I know. But na God use music take do am. I am sorry,” Shatta Wale added.
