Three Tragic Incidents That Have Befallen Employment Minister, Baffour Awuah In 2021
The year 2021 has been one of the toughest years for the Employment and Labour Relations Minister, Ignatius Baffour with three terrible incidents that have befallen him.
The Minister also doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Sunyani West Constituency in the Bono Region.
Earlier in March 2021, the mast of his newly established radio station, Service Radio located in Sunyani fell and crushed to death a 13-year-old boy. The mast also destroyed some shops in the process. The radio station was off air for some months before coming back on air.

In August, the Minister was involved in an accident while on his way to Nsoatre, his hometown for a funeral. He was in the company of the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Sunyani West Constituency, Evans Kwasi Boadu who is now the Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West Municipality.

The latest is the involvement of Baffour Soccer Academy, a Division 1 team belonging to the Minister and was involved in an accident 0n the Kumasi-Accra Highway leading to the death of the Administrator of the team, Richard Kwaku Adjei and the Coach, Ibrahim Mohammed.
