Speculation about tension between two of Kumawood’s most recognisable names resurfaced again online, but one of them has moved to shut it down firmly, insisting there is no feud at all.
Agya Koo has addressed long-standing rumours linking him to a rift with colleague Kwadwo Nkansah (Lilwin) after a Facebook post began circulating widely and sparked renewed conversation among fans.
In the post, Agya Koo dismissed claims of any hostility between him and Lilwin, stressing that the narrative being pushed online does not reflect reality. He also clarified that his only issue, if it can be called that, is with how some of Lilwin’s statements are sometimes delivered, not with the actor himself.
“There’s no beef between me and Kwadwo Nkansah. Stop forcing a narrative that isn’t there.
I just don’t like some of his choice of words sometimes. But that doesn’t mean I’m against him. Berma Lil Win sei hc 🙌❤️”
The message was direct and unambiguous, aiming to calm growing speculation that the two stars of Ghana’s film industry have been at odds for years.
Shortly after the post gained traction, Lilwin responded in a warm and appreciative tone, brushing off the rumours and showing admiration for the veteran actor. His reply suggested respect rather than rivalry, reinforcing Agya Koo’s message that there is no internal conflict.
“My legend and king 👑 Official.Agyakoo thank you they don’t know 😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The exchange quickly drew attention from fans, many of whom have long debated whether there was real friction between the pair or whether the rumours were simply a product of social media speculation and industry gossip.
For years, conversations around Kumawood have occasionally been shaped by perceived divisions among its leading figures, with Agya Koo and Lilwin often pulled into those narratives despite limited public evidence of any dispute between them.
This latest interaction, however, appears to present a clearer picture from both sides, suggesting mutual respect rather than rivalry, even as online discussions continue to interpret their relationship through a more dramatic lens.
