Fourteen members of the Western Togoland Secessionists Group led by one, Charles Kwame Kudzordi have been arrested at a secret meeting in the Volta Region.
They were arrested by a joint military-police team at Kpando Aziavi during a meeting led by one Charles Kwame Kudzordi on how to destabilize Ghana.
The arrest was led by Major Jalal Din Ibrahim from the 66 Artillery Regiment at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
The 14 persons have so far been handed over to the Volta Regional Police Command.
The Homeland Security over the years have been agitating for a break away from Ghana to form the Western Togoland.
On March 6, 2020 they replaced the flag of Ghana with theirs at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council in Ho.
