Atebubu Traditional Council Bans Sanja Nanja From Campaigning On Their Land

The Atebubu Traditional Council in the Bono East Region has banned NDC Aspirant and former Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Sanja Nanja from campaigning on their land.

This is not the first time the former MP, Sanja Nanja has been banned from campaigning in Atebubu and its environs a similar thing was done in 2016 when Sanja Nanja is alleged to have insulted the Queen Mother of Atebubu, Nana Afua Donyina II on Kasoa-based radio station Pink FM during an interview.

Spokesperson of the Atebubu Traditional Council,Nana Boaky Yiadom, in an interview noted that since the incident happened Sanja Nanja has not come to the to traditional to come and apologise.

“Sanja Nanja insulted the Queen mother of Atebubu, Nana Afuah Donyina II in 2016 and when Mr. Nanja’s attention was drawn to render an apology to the Queen mother he failed to do that leading to his ban in the run up to the 2016 elections.”

All the sub chiefs in Atebubu have also been directed not to entertain Mr. Sanja Nanja in their palace or locality.
