Former President John Mahama Promises To Upgrade Amantin Health Centre Into A Polyclinic

Former President Mahama has promised the people of Amantin in the Atebubu-Amantin Municipality of the Bono East Region that he would upgrade their health centre into a Polyclinic when gets the nod to become the President.

President Mahama was addressing the chiefs and people of Amantin during his tour of the area.

He disclosed that during the runup to the 2016 elections he promised to upgrade the Amantin Health Centre to a Polyclinic but unfortunately lost the elections.

He noted that the increasing population in Amantin the facility needs to be upgrade to meet the demands of the people.

Former assured the people that when he becomes the President he would ensure that the facility gets the needed facelift.

He was in the company of the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Atebubu-Amantin, Sanja Nanja.

The NDC Presidential candidate also addressed a mini durbar in the Sene East Constituency at Kajeji.

He urged the people to go and check their names when the Electoral Commission begins the exhibition of the voters’ register.

He noted that the when the NPP assumed office they collapsed the Landing Beach Committee which was managing the premix fuel but it was collapsed and being managed by the party leaders.

He promised that when he assumes office, premix fuel would be managed well to help the fisher folks.
