15 Members Of Parliament Test Positive To COVID-19 In Ghana

Information available to First News has it that 15 Members of Parliament have tested positive to COVID-19 in Ghana’s Parliament.

Apart from the 15 MPs who have tested positive to the pandemic, 56 parliamentary staff have also tested positive to the disease.

Earlier this week, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin threatened to expose  the MPs who have tested positive to the disease to the public if they do not stop coming to Parliament.

Due to the situation, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has indicated that the House would sit twice in a week to curb the spreading of the disease.

Parliament is currently using a temporal structure as a meeting place to also control the spread of the disease.
