Effiduasemanhene Appeals to President Akufo-Addo To Kick-Out to Incumbent DCE

The Chief of  Effiduase Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Nana Adu Ameyaw II has called on President Akufo-Addo to kick-out incumbent District Chief Executive for the area, Mary Boatemaa Marfo over what he describes as incompetency.

Addressing the media at Effiduase, Nana Adu Ameyaw II called on the President to  appoint a competent person for the DCE position .

According to Nana Adu Ameyaw II, the DCE’s incompetency coupled with her regular feud with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew pushed the traditional council to invite both parties for peace settlement but the DCE declined  the chief’s invitation on several occasions.

“We are not saying this to mean the DCE is our enemy. We need development but she cannot point to any developmental projects in the area.”

He noted that they need a DCE who would collaborate with the Member of Parliament for the area to bring the needed development they are yearning for.
