Justina Owusu-Banahene Approved As Bono Regional Minister

Justina Owusu-Banahene has been approved by Parliament as the Bono Regional Minister.

The 51-year-old Justina Owusu-Banahene, an Educationist becomes the second woman to head the region as the Regional Minister after Evelyn Aman Kumi Richardson.

She alongside 15 other persons have been approved regional ministers.

The other Regional Ministers include; George Boakye-Ahafo, Simon Osei-Mensah-Ashanti Region, Adu Gyan-Bono East, Justina Marigold Assan- Central, Seth Acheampong- Eastern, Henry Quartey- Greater, Shani Alhassan Saibu-Northern and Joseph Makubu- Oti.

The rest are Saeed Muhazu Jibril, Savanna Region, Stepen Yakubu -Upper East Region, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih-Upper West Region, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa-Volta, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah- Western Region and Richard Obeng- Western North Region.

Justina Owusu-Banahene until her appointment was the Municipal Chief Executive for the Sunyani East Municipality.

Justina Owusu-Banahene was born on April 02, 1970, in Atronie in the Sunyani Municipality. She is not married but has a male child.

She was the National Deputy Women Organizer for the New Patriotic Party from 2018 till her appointment as the MCE.

Ms Owusu-Banahene is also a former Regional Women Organizer of the NPP in the then Brong Ahafo Region between 2008 and 2012.
