Black Princesses Grace Asantewaa Named Among CAF Youth Team 2020
Black Princesses Grace Asantewaa has been named into the 2020 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Youth Women Team of the Year 2020.
The team which was compiled by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) had the EDF Logrono star had the only Ghanaian in the team.
Nigeria dominated the list with 5 players, Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie; FC Robo Queens captain, Monday Gift; Madrid CFF defender, Chidinma Okeke; Real Zaragoza’s Peace Efih, and Pitea’s Anam Imo.
Players on the list are those given birth to from the year 2000 and above.
Grace Asantewaa currently plays for Logrono in Spain. She played for Techiman-based Ampem Darkoa before joining the Spanish side in summer 2019.
