Gospel Musician Ohemaa Jacky Arrested For Fraud

Gospel singer Ohemaa Jacky has been arrested and arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court for fraud.

The singer defrauded a lady  of  an amount of 21,000 euros with claims that she would secure her a passport and travelling documents to the European Union (EU).

She took the money and secured the lady fake documents. When the lady tried to travel to Italy with the fake documents, she was arrested.

She then told officers that she received the fraudulent papers from Ohemaa Jacky, who had run an advert on her social media pages that she could secure such documents for people.

The police thus arrested her and arraigned her before court on September 8th.

Ohemaa Jacky pleaded for bail on account of being a gospel singer and celebrity but the trial judge denied her request.

She has been remanded into police custody until the next trial date on September 16th.

The gospel singer, who doubles as a vlogger, was last in the news due to an altercation with Tracey Boakye. An angry Tracey Boakye accused her of using juju to aid her career.
