A 44- year-old man, Richard Nyantakyi, has been arrested for posing as a police officer at Asuofua Lorry Station in the Ashanti Region.
Richard Nyantakyi was was arrested by the District Police Commander of Asokwa, Superintendent Christian Owusu Mpinim whiles directing traffic and wielding what appears to be pump action gun.
According to a report by the police, the District Commander was driving from Barekese to Abrepo when he spotted the said suspect in a dress that looks like Police uniform welding the pump action gun directing traffic at Asuofua lorry station.
He is currently in police custody pending investigations.
