Kumawood Legend King Aboagye Brenya Confirmed Dead

Information reaching First News is that Kumawood legend King Aboagye Brenya has died at the age of 82.

He died at the County Hospital at Abrepo in the Kumasi Metropolis where he was receiving treatment for undisclosed illness.

King Aboagye Brenya who has acted in over 200 movies has not been feeling well for some time now. He becomes the second person in the Showbiz industry to die after the death of Highlife King, Nana Kwame Ampadu last Tuesday.

President of the Film Producers Association Of  Ghana(FIPAG),James Aboagye confirmed the incident.

Actor Kwadwo Nkansah known in the showbiz circles as Lilwin sometime ago went to support the late movie star.

The late King Brenya was the owner of Ohenenana Guest House at Bohyen and the Kumasiman Preparatory School also located at Bohyen in Kumasi.

The late actor also worked with the Kumasi Cultural Centre.
