Covid-19 Kills 89 Persons In Bono Region

Covid-19 kills 89 persons in Bono Region according to statistics from the Ghana Health Service.

The Bono Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Kofi Amo-Kodieh addressing the media in Sunyani noted that 89 persons have so far died from Covid-19 in the region.

“Out of the 89 persons that have died, 1 died last year with the rest of the 88 dying in 2021.”

Dr. Amo-Kodieh also disclosed that the vaccination exercise has been intensified and the region is expected to vaccinate 500,000 persons before the end of December.

He admonished the inhabitants in the Bono Region to take the opportunity to get vaccinated.
