A Policeman stationed at Asutsuatre Police Station in the Eastern, General Lance Corporal Roland Agbovi Tetteh has been arrested for allegedly raping an inmate at the washroom of the police station.
Corporal Roland Agbovi Tetteh is alleged to have raped 17-year-old, Precious Azumah an inmate at the police station. The victim was in the police custody for alleged stealing.
After raping her, Corporal Tetteh warned her not to disclosed the act to anyone.
The victim was was released on police enquiry bail and was issued with a medical form to attend the Akuse Government Hospital for treatment.
The Station Officer was instructed to arrest Corporal Roland Agbovi Tetteh for further action.
