Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has met the UK FCDO Minister for Africa, Vicky Ford, at the ongoing Education World Forum 2022 in London.
In a brief interaction, the two discussed the strong UK-Ghana partnership in education, including co-funding the new Ghana Education Outcomes Project, progress on Reforms and Learning, Girls Education, and using data for decision-making, as well as how to address education inequalities between northern and southern Ghana.
On behalf of the Ministry of Education, the minister presented the UK Minister with a plaque and some made in Ghana chocolate.
Dr. Osei Adutwum took the opportunity to also invite her to visit a STEM school for girls on her next visit to Ghana.
