A 25-year-old Labourer, Ali Dauda, is in the grips of the Pru East District Police Command at Yeji in the Bono East Region for allegedly kidnapping a 2-year-old boy at Yeji.
The suspect, after kidnapping the boy, took the boy to Kajawu in the Savanna Region but through an informant, Ali Dauda was arrested and will be put before the Atebubu Magistrate tomorrow Thursday, 21st July, 2022.
First News gathered that the little boy was playing within the vicinity but he got missing. The family reported the incident to the Yeji police who later moved to Kajawu to arrest the suspect, Ali Dauda.
Mother of the little boy, Theresa Donkor speaking to First News commended the police and the informant for helping her to locate her child.
” I want to thank the Police in Yeji and the informant for the role they have played which has helped me to get my child back.”
