The Minister of Communication and Digitalization, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has announced the extension of the sim card re-registration to September 30, 2022.
Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful made this known during a press briefing in Accra.
She also noted that an app will also be made available where people can sit at the comfort of their homes and register their sim cards.
Within the last weeks many Ghanaians have rushed to the offices of the telecos to re-register their sim cards.
Apart from this, the offices of the National Identification Authority across the country have witnessed influx of people who have come to register for their Ghana cards to enable them register their sim cards.
