President Akufo-Addo To Address Ghanaians Tonight

President Akufo-Addo is expected to address Ghanaians today Sunday at 8p.m. on what his government is doing to alleviate the economic hardship.

The address will be broadcast on major media houses across the country.

Over the last three days, President Akufo-Addo has been meeting with cabinet at Peduase Lodge in the Eastern Region over the economic hardship in the country and the way forward.

The President is expected to announce measures his government has taken to reduce the economic hardship, especially the fall of the cedi and the escalating prices of goods and services.

Meanwhile, the government through its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expecting a $3bn bailout in 2023 to hopefully curb the crisis and improve the economy.
