Breaking News: Jojo Wollacott Ruled Out Of World Cup Following Finger Injury

Ghana’s first choice goalie Jojo Wollacott will miss the World Cup in Qatar because of injury, sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.

Wollacott suffered a finger injury on Saturday at his club Charlton just days before the start of the 2022 World Cup.

He was forced to pull out of the pre-game warmups due to the injury and will have a scan to determine its extent later on Saturday night in a game against Burton Albion.

Sportsworldghana.com sources understand that the palyer’s injury wasn’t a minor one as earlier anticipate, ruling him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, Ghana coach Otto Addo will announce his final 26-man squad on Monday 14th December, 2022.

Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
