KIintampo North MP Donates To Support Farmers’ Day Commemoration
The 2022 National Farmers’ Day commemoration to celebrate our gallant farmers comes off today 2nd December, 2022 at Koforidua on the theme “Accelerating Agricultural Development Through Value Addition”. This is the 38th edition which was instituted in 1985 by the PNDC administration led the visionary leader, His Excellency Flt. Lt. J.J. Rawlings of blessed memory.
It was purposed to recognize and appreciate the valuable contributions and sacrifices our dear farmers are making in the food chain and the overall impact on GDP. The Kintampo North Municipal version is scheduled to take place at Kobeda No 2.
As a farmer himself and usual of him, the humble servant and Peoples’ MP, Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah in collaboration with the Kintampo Municipal Assembly yesterday donated a brand new motorbike to the Municipal Agric Directorate for the award of the 2nd Runner up Best Farmer in the municipality.
The donation was done on behalf of the Hon. MP by the constituency scribe, Mr. Issah Kwabena Abdulai since he is still participating in the post budget debate.
Receiving the donation, the Municipal Director of Agriculture, Mr. Yambor Simon commended the Hon. MP for his continued support and promised to use it for the intended purpose.
The Hon. MP takes this opportunity to say AYIKOO to all our gallant farmers.
