Citi TV’s Michael Sarpong Mfum Wins Regional Correspondent Of The Year At Bono Ahafo Media Awards 2022; Dedicates It To His Late Father

Citi TV’s Michael Sarpong Mfum has won the Correspondent of the Year at the 2nd edition of the Bono Ahafo Media Awards.

The awards which was organized by 3D Events Management was to honour hard working media practitioners in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions.

He beat other nominees in stiff competition to earn the bragging rights.

Sadly, the Citi TV journalist lost his father a few days before the awards ceremony was held.

After his victory, the affable journalist declared that he is dedicating the award to his late father, Mr Joseph Samuel Kwabena Mfum.

“Another award, I dedicate it to my late dad JSK Mfum,” he said.

The Bono Ahafo Media Awards 2022 was held in Sunyani on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
