Theresa Yeboah Wins Best Rural Service Nurse

Theresa Yeboah, a Registered Community Health Nurse stationed at Kintampo in the Bono East has been awarded as Mrs Ruth Aku Gyang Best Rural Service Nurse at the 3rd GRNMA National Awards held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

Theresa Yeboah beat other nurses in her category to emerge winner as Mrs Ruth Aku Gyang Best Rural Service Nurse in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions.

She works at the Public Health Unit at the Kintampo Municipal Hospital. This is 10th year working at the municipality. She has also worked at Reproductive and Child Health.

Theresa Yeboah after receiving the award stated that, “This Award is enough encouragement for me to do More and I wish God ride me off pride and build me up more and strengthen my wings to fly higher. I am certainly looking forward to many more milestones with renewed desire to continue making an impact in health and encouraged now more than ever to give my best to Kintampo Municipality and Ghana as a whole.”

She is a product of Navrongo Community Health Nursing School in the Upper East Region and Fomena Nursing College in the Ashanti Region.
