Alidu Zakaria Donates To Support Gonjaland Youth Association’s 47th Congress
The Managing Director of Nick Petroleum Company Limited, Mr. Alidu Zakaria known in political circles as Hon. Ayawu has donated some items towards the 47th Annual Gonjaland Youth Association’s 47th Congress.
Mr. Alidu Zakaria handed over the items to the Organising Committee of the Gonjaland Youth Association.The items donated by Mr. Alidu Zakaria include; 100 bags of sachet water, 30 cartons of bottled water, 5 bags of rice and an undisclosed cash.
Mr. Alidu Zakaria who is also NPP Parliamentary aspirant hopeful in the Salaga South Constituency in the Savannah Region in an interview with First News, said over the years Gonjaland Youth Association has done a lot in the area and needs to be supported.
“I am a native I thought it wise to support the Gonjaland Youth Association in whatever they are doing. This is not the only support I have given. I have done a lot over the years. Apart from this I have supported many of the youth here who are in tertiary institutions, Senior High Schools among others.”
The Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Gonjaland Youth Association Congress ,Mohammed Sabingo who received the items on behalf of the group commended Mr. Zakaria for his kind gesture.
