Fritz Markus Schmid Can Handle The Black Stars- Stephen Kofi
Stephen Kofi, a winger and attacking midfielder with Kotoku Royals Football Club based in Akyem Oda, Eastern Region, is advocating for the appointment of Fritz Markus Schmid as the new coach for the Black Stars by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Fritz Markus Schmid is one of the coaches who have submitted applications to lead the Black Stars, and according to Kofi, Schmid possesses the qualities needed to form a formidable team capable of winning trophies in the near future.
“Fritz Markus Schmid has the credentials to lead the Black Stars. Before joining Kotoku Royals, he played a pivotal role in our journey to qualifying for the Premiership for the first time, addressing several areas where we were lacking,” stated Kofi.
Highlighting Schmid’s technical prowess, Kofi expressed confidence in his ability to manage the Black Stars effectively. “Technically, Fritz is exceptional; he consistently demonstrates a clear understanding of the game. I trust that he can handle the Black Stars perfectly.”
Notably, Fritz Markus Schmid, in addition to his role as a development coach, has previously coached the New Zealand National Team and FC Basel.
