Victor Kwame Boafo Vying To Lead Krachi Youth Association
Victor Kwame Boafo, a dedicated youth leader, is vying for the presidency of the Krachi Youth Association, a prominent advocacy group focused on developing the Krachi Traditional Area in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region.
In an interview with First News, Boafo outlined his vision for the association, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in education.
He pledged to foster strong relationships between students, teachers, and parents to improve academic performance and lobby for government, NGOs, and individual support for disadvantaged University students.
Additionally, he aims to champion the establishment of a Technical University in Krachi.
Boafo also acknowledged the pressing water crisis in Kaakye communities and vowed to work with institutions to find a sustainable solution.
“Water is a big problem for all Kaakye communities; l will lobby with some institutions to get us a lasting solution to our water problem by tapping it from the Volta Lake.”
He added that, “With the construction of a Bridge at Dambai, my team will follow up to get it done as promised by the Government.”
He added that,” We will work together to foster unity among the Kaakye communities for development.”
He appealed to all the delegates to vote for him on 22nd June, 2024 to lead the Association.
He is a product of Tamale Technical University with a Degree in Accounting and Finance and over two decades experience in the Banking industry.
He is currently the Nkawkaw Branch Manager of AFB GH Plc and Letshego Savings and Loans. He has also worked with Beige Capital, Bayport Financial Service, GN Bank and Asante Akyem Rural Bank.
With his leadership, the Krachi Youth Association is poised to drive meaningful change in the Krachi Traditional Area.
