KODA’s family bans media coverage and photography at his funeral

Deceased Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA, will be laid to rest today, September 20, 2024.

The burial service is being held at the KICC Dominion Centre, Spintex Road, near the Coca-Cola Roundabout in Accra.

Ahead of the funeral, KODA’s family issued a notice prohibiting media coverage and photography during the event, citing privacy concerns.

“Kindly note, there will be no media coverage or photography during the funeral services. Thank you for respecting our request for privacy. Your condolences are greatly appreciated,” the family’s notice stated.

KODA passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2024, at the age of 45.

The original date for his burial and final funeral rites was postponed.
