Akwaboah reveals what he told his partner to expect before marriage

Before tying the knot, Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah Jnr. made sure to prepare his partner for the inevitable rumors and social media gossip that often come with fame.

In a recent interview, the ‘Letter To My Spouse’ composer shared that he had mentally prepared his wife for what might surface, ensuring that when speculation arose after their wedding, they were unfazed.

“When I got married, if you followed social media discussions, a lot was said about me. The fortunate part is that I had already advised my wife to expect such things,” he told Amansan Krakye.

“So when the rumors I had warned her about started circulating, we would just laugh because we saw it coming,” the famous Ghanaian singer added.

Akwaboah emphasized that a lasting marriage requires effort, especially in handling external pressures.

“If we need to unwind, we go out, have fun, and then come home to rest. We must do whatever it takes to protect our marriage from breaking down,” he concluded.
