Celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has broken his silence, sharing a video that reveals his refreshed appearance and marks a powerful moment in his recovery after a traumatic incident that nearly left him blind.

The journalist, who suffered a serious eye injury during a misfire at the Kwafie Festival in Dormaa Ahenkro in December 2024, is now on the mend. During a traditional musketry performance, gunpowder residue unexpectedly struck his eye, resulting in a medical emergency that required treatment abroad.

Now back and visibly improved, Kofi released his first public video since the accident. In it, he speaks with heartfelt emotion, expressing overwhelming gratitude to God for preserving his life and guiding him through one of the darkest chapters of his life.

Overflowing with thanks, Kofi didn’t hold back in appreciating the countless individuals and communities who stood by him. Leading his acknowledgments was his wife, Mrs. Miracle Adomah, whom he credited for her relentless support and care during his recovery. Her presence, he noted, was instrumental in his healing journey.

Kofi Adomah Nwanwani went on to salute several groups and regions for their solidarity, including the people of Banda, his in-laws, and traditional leaders and residents of Dzelukope in the Volta Region. He also expressed appreciation to the chiefs and people of the Tema Traditional Council and Gomoa Amanfrom in the Central Region for their prayers and encouragement.

Among those he specially recognized were philanthropists Ibrahim Mahama and Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the latter being his boss at Angel Broadcasting Network. Both men offered significant assistance that, according to Kofi, made a meaningful difference during his recovery.

The CEO of Kofi TV also took the opportunity to address lingering rumors about his personal life. Responding to controversial claims that his injury was divine retribution for allegedly “snatching” his wife, he promised to clarify the truth and dismiss the misinformation.
