Ghanaian artiste, Dennis Nana Dwamena, well-known as KiDi, has opened up about how he navigates fame, love, and the constant attention that comes with being in the spotlight.

Speaking on Joy Prime’s PrimeTime, hosted by George Quaye, the award-winning singer explained that dealing with advances from women requires discipline. “There’s no rule book on how to deal with these things; just grace and making sure that you’re disciplined,” he said.

The conversation, which marked the debut episode of the show, touched on both his career and personal life. On marriage, KiDi admitted it is something he desires but not immediately.

“KiDi is getting married, but we don’t know if it’s soon. It’s something I want one day, but I don’t know if I’m ready for it yet,” he revealed. Asked if there was someone special in his life, he answered simply, “No,” confirming that he is currently single.

Aside from personal matters, KiDi reflected on his artistry, stressing the importance of staying true to himself. He said his songs are often drawn from real-life experiences, which allows him to connect more genuinely with his fans.
