Prophet Telvin Claims His Intervention Shifted “Number 17” Injury From Kudus to Abu Francis

Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei - Abu Francis - Mohammed Kudus

Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei has resurfaced with an interpretation of a prophecy he says he delivered months before Ghana’s friendly against Japan, insisting that the ankle injury suffered by midfielder Abu Francis was never meant for him.

The prophet, who first spoke in May 2025, claimed at the time that he had seen a revelation warning that Mohammed Kudus would be struck down by a player wearing the number 17 jersey. He now argues that the incident in November followed the same sequence he described, only with a different victim.

During an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, he explained that his spiritual intervention redirected the misfortune away from Kudus. Telvin said the events in the Japan fixture repeated the exact details of the original prophecy.

He highlighted the Japanese player’s number 17 shirt as the confirmation he needed. According to him, every element of the match aligned with his earlier message, aside from the fact that the injured party was not Kudus.

He described the shift as what he calls “time tempering in the spiritual realm.”

“The player entered into the ball instead of Kudus, played the same position, broke the same ankle at the same position with the player who broke the ankle of the opponent wearing the same number 17 jersey with the red and white line on the neck. Specific location, specific pathway, the same leg, the same jersey but different character. That is what we call time tempering,” he said.

Telvin added that shortly after delivering the prophecy in May, individuals approached him to intervene spiritually on Kudus’s behalf. He said he complied, claiming that his actions moved the injury away from the Tottenham and Black Stars midfielder.

“When they brought me request, I had to readjust some few things by the grace of God. And if you can make a request and change it, He who is weak will be the one to face the consequences,” he stated.

He further argued that Kudus had become the focus of intense spiritual interest because many believed that an ankle injury to the playmaker would significantly weaken the Black Stars.

When pressed on why the injury could not be eliminated entirely rather than transferred to another player, the prophet insisted such an outcome was impossible. He maintained that the match had been predetermined to feature a leg break caused by a number 17 player.

Abu Francis sustained his fracture while attempting to block a shot roughly ten minutes into the second half of the Japan friendly. The awkward twist around his ankle alarmed teammates, and he was stretchered off after starting the game and later giving way to Alidu Seidu in the 56th minute.

Francis had only just rejoined the Black Stars for the friendlies against Japan and South Korea after missing the September and October World Cup qualifying matches.
