Nana Tonardo Admits Regret Over Old Online Attacks

Nana Tonardo

Nana Tonardo says time and age have forced him to confront a version of himself he no longer recognizes, one he now views with deep regret.

The socialite and actor disclosed in a recent Instagram video that he was left embarrassed after accidentally coming across one of his past online outbursts while scrolling through social media. He said the clip, which resurfaced on TikTok, captured him hurling insults at someone during a heated exchange, a moment he admits now fills him with shame.

According to Nana Tonardo, revisiting those videos has been unsettling, as he struggles to understand how he once allowed himself to be pulled into public feuds and verbal attacks. He noted that watching himself speak in that manner makes him uncomfortable and reflective about the choices he made at the time.

He explained that maturity has shifted his perspective, adding that with his 40th birthday approaching, he feels a strong responsibility to leave that chapter behind. He stressed that growing older has come with a clearer sense of self-control and restraint.

“Sometimes, when I look at some of the previous videos I’ve done and the words I used in the insults, I feel ashamed of myself. Now that I’m older, I wouldn’t do anything like that again,” he said.

Nana Tonardo has previously been involved in several high-profile public clashes within Ghana’s entertainment and social media circles, including disputes with Afia Schwarzenegger, Obampour, and others. He now suggests those confrontations belong firmly in his past as he seeks a more measured public image.
