I Won’t Let One-Minute Hate Spoil My Million Comments – Nana Ama McBrown on Handling Trolls

Nana Ama McBrown

Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has shared her approach to dealing with online trolls and negative comments, explaining how she safeguards her peace of mind.

During a segment on Onua TV on January 20, 2026, McBrown described a straightforward strategy she uses to protect her mental and emotional well-being while navigating social media.

She revealed that she immediately deletes any hostile comment from someone she does not know, without even looking at their profile.

“When someone I’m not familiar with comes to leave a negative comment under my post, I won’t even check your profile or anything but I will just delete the comment,” she said.

McBrown also disclosed that although her fans and loved ones often step in to defend her online, she prefers to remove the negativity herself to spare them the effort.

“Sometimes, our loved ones fight for us with the people dropping the hate comments but to save them the stress, I would delete the comments,” she explained.

Reflecting on her earlier habits, the award-winning actress admitted that she once spent time investigating who was behind negative remarks before deciding how to respond.

“At first, I used to get time to check who the person is or where he or she stays to see if the person was worth the attention,” she noted.

Now, Nana Ama McBrown says she refuses to let a single negative comment overshadow the overwhelming support she receives from fans.

“I won’t allow someone one-minute comment to spoil my one million comments,” she further stated.
