No Recruitment Yet, GES Cautions Over False Online Letter

Ghana Education Service

The Ghana Education Service has issued a firm public notice warning citizens to ignore a letter being widely shared online that claims a new recruitment exercise has been launched, stating clearly that the document is not authentic.

In a statement dated January 23 and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, the Service said its attention had been drawn to the alleged recruitment letter circulating on social media and other informal platforms. Management stressed that no recruitment process has commenced and confirmed that the letter did not originate from the Ghana Education Service or any of its departments.

The statement further explained that the Service has not authorised any individual or group to announce or conduct recruitment on its behalf at this time. It emphasised that all legitimate recruitment exercises are centrally coordinated and formally communicated to the public.

According to the Service, when recruitment officially begins, details will be made known solely through its recognised and official communication channels. Until such an announcement is issued, the public has been urged to exercise caution.

The Ghana Education Service, therefore, advised job seekers and the general public to disregard the circulating letter and to treat any recruitment claims that do not come from its approved platforms as false and misleading.
