Papa Shee Plans 3-Day Prayer Crusade for Akosua Serwaa Amid Daddy Lumba Estate Dispute

Akosua Serwaa, Daddy Lumba and Papa Shee

Papa Shee has announced plans to organise a three-day prayer crusade in solidarity with Akosua Serwaa, whom he describes as the legally acknowledged wife of the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba.

The announcement came during a press briefing held by Team Legal Wives on Monday, February 3, 2025. Speaking to the media, Papa Shee addressed the continuing legal dispute involving Akosua Serwaa and some members of Daddy Lumba’s family. He emphasised the importance of spiritual support as the court process unfolds.

According to him, the prayer crusade will be held in Accra from Thursday, February 19, to Saturday, February 21. The spiritual gathering is expected to take place within the Kwame Nkrumah Circle area, where followers and sympathisers of Team Legal Wives are projected to converge.

Papa Shee explained that the main objective of the event is to rally believers and well-wishers to intercede on behalf of Akosua Serwaa, particularly regarding her welfare and the outcome of the legal contest. He noted that participants will join in collective prayers, seeking divine favour, protection, and deliverance from individuals perceived to be working against her.

He also pointed to biblical principles to support his conviction that prayer can provide spiritual fortitude and influence positive outcomes. He expressed confidence that the crusade would strengthen Akosua Serwaa as the legal confrontation progresses.

The planned religious exercise comes at a time when disagreements surrounding the control and distribution of Daddy Lumba’s estate remain unresolved. The dispute has placed Akosua Serwaa and another claimant, Odo Broni, at the centre of a widely followed legal standoff.
