OnlyFans Owner Leo Radvinsky Dies at 43 After Cancer Battle

OnlyFans owner Leo Radvinsky has died at 43 after a cancer battle. The tech entrepreneur led the platform’s global rise after acquiring it in 2018.

Leo Radvinsky, the entrepreneur who took control of OnlyFans and steered its rapid growth, has died at the age of 43 after battling cancer, the company confirmed on Monday.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” the statement read. “Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”

Born in Ukraine, Radvinsky later relocated to the United States, where he was raised in Chicago. He went on to study economics at Northwestern University, laying the foundation for a career that would eventually place him at the helm of one of the internet’s most talked-about platforms.

His defining business move came in 2018 when he acquired Fenix International Limited, the London-based company behind OnlyFans. From that point, he served as director and majority shareholder, overseeing the platform’s expansion into a global subscription service for digital creators.

Company records indicate that his stake in Fenix International Limited was transferred into the LR Fenix Trust in 2024.

Beyond his corporate role, Radvinsky was active in investment circles as an angel investor and also supported a range of charitable causes. According to his personal website, his donations largely targeted medical research and healthcare institutions.

Among the beneficiaries listed are Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the EB Research Partnership, which funds research into epidermolysis bullosa, and the University of Chicago Medicine.

OnlyFans itself predates Radvinsky’s involvement. It was founded in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely as a subscription-based service for creators. The platform later gained widespread attention for hosting adult content alongside other forms of paid digital media.

Stokely sold a majority stake in the parent company to Radvinsky in 2018 and later stepped down as chief executive in December 2021.
