Medikal has opened up about life after his split from Fella Makafui, sharing how the two are navigating parenthood without being together.
Speaking on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy, the rapper, known in private life as Samuel Adu Frimpong, said their focus has shifted entirely to raising their daughter, with both sides committed to keeping things smooth and respectful.
“Oh, it’s a very cool one. We are co-parenting nicely. You know, she’s taking good care of Island,” he said.
He made it clear that their connection does not extend beyond their responsibilities as parents. According to him, their communication is limited to decisions concerning their child, with no personal visits or interactions outside that arrangement.
“I mean, we don’t meet and stuff. She doesn’t come home and stuff but I mean, we talk anytime that when there’s need be to talk concerning Island and what to do for Island.”
Despite the separation, Medikal said he remains hands-on when it comes to his daughter, emphasising the time they spend together whenever she is with him.
“Anytime Island comes too, we spend a good time. We have a quality time. I take good care of her.”
